TNB Brings High Speed Broadband Support In 5 Areas In Kedah

Tenaga Nasional Berhad, through Allo is now continuing to expand their network support, and has introduced support for high -speed broadband facilities in five areas that did not have access before.

The five areas involved in Kedah are in Kulim, Aman Jaya, Kuala Ketil, Mergong and Sungai Petani. Nearly 33,000 premises in the area can now enjoy high-speed broadband and only need to subscribe to it through service providers such as Astro, Digi, Celcom, U Mobile, Maxis and others.

TNB achieved this high-speed broadband access by using a 25,000km long fiber optic line supported by 472 main entry substations in Peninsular Malaysia. The fiber optic line is used in creating a telecommunication network under the JENDELA program.

Kedah is the third state to launch the Allo telecommunication network facilities project, after Melaka and Perak previously.
