Twitter Is Testing "Status", A Feature To Put A Topic Status On A Tweet

Twitter has introduced many new features and functions this year. Among them are CoTweet, Twitter Notes, Unmention capabilities, or even the new sidebar design. There are also features that are still in the testing phase such as Twitter Delegates and recently the subscription price of Twitter Blue has also been increased.

A report from TechCrunch a few days ago showed that Twitter is testing the Twitter Status feature. This status can be placed on a tweet for the user to inform followers or other users about the topic of the tweet.

Users can only use the Status that Twitter provides, for example if the thread is for a hot discussion you can use Hot take, if it is a thread you can use A thread, if the discussion is about sharing Spoiler alert, if it is an AMA question, sharing personal opinions can also be used Unpopular Opinion and more.

Each of these Statuses has an emoji in front of it. This feature is like a status on MySpace back in the day or Facebook a few years ago. Users can also click on Status to see comments from other users who use the same status.

This feature is currently in the testing phase and is being rolled out to select users in the United States and Australia. Not sure when this feature will be rolled out to everyone. This feature also doesn't seem to be limited to Twitter Blue users and the lucky ones can already use it.
