Among the key issues on the Twitter platform is that anyone can reply to unlocked tweets. Often times conversations that keep from the original topic will continue for days with the original creator account not removed. The consequences of personal timelines will be tainted with unsolicited discussions by uninvited people.
Today Twitter introduced the Unmention feature to all users. Features that were previously tested by a small number of users are now being given to all in stages. With Unmention account owners can remove their names from being directly included in conversations that they are no longer interested in engaging in.
Press the three -dot menu on the prompt with the account name already marked and then select only Leave this conversation. Now account owners will no longer be included in unnecessary conversations. Features will be provided in stages starting today.
