WhatsApp has already stated that it will add support for sharing files up to 2GB in size, and this feature is being introduced gradually to WhatsApp users.
Through our own testing, our WhatsApp account has been activated with support for sending files up to 2GB.
With this move, it allows users to send large files directly through WhatsApp. Previously, the limit of each file was limited to 100MB only.
