Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 - 2604 marks

Apple A15 Bionic - 3038 marks

Conclusion

Consistently the scores recorded by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 are higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but behind the A15 Bionic in Geekbench 5 and Wild Life Extreme tests. The score difference in Geekbench 5 was A15 Bionic 25% higher in the single -core test and 11% higher in the multi -core test. In terms of CPU capability, Apple’s chip still has a significant advantage but the gap between the Snapdragon and the A15 Bionic is narrowing.

In the Antutu 3D test, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 score is 36% higher than the A15 Bionic and only 8% higher than the Snapdagon 8 Gen 1. One interesting thing we noticed is that the ROG Phone 6 Pro has a good cooling system. The CPU temperature only increased 4.2 ° C in the Antutu 3D test compared to 9.7 ° C on the Black Shark 5 Pro. If you’re looking for a device that’s powerful but capable of maintaining a good temperature, the ROG Phone 6 is among the best we’ve seen so far.

Finally, the A15 Bionic's score in the Wild Life Extreme test is 9% higher than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The performance of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is 7% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

So for those who are still using the device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, there is no need to replace the device because the performance difference is not so significant. For iPhone 13 Pro Max owners, you also don't have to worry because your device is still powerful even though it's been almost a year since it was launched.
