Windows Insider updates typically showcase the functions that Microsoft will officially introduce on their operating systems soon. Earlier this year, Microsoft demonstrated the ability to play songs from CDs on Windows 11's built -in media player.
With the latest Windows Insider program update, Microsoft seems to be adding another new function, which is the feature of copying songs from a compact disc using a built -in media player and is being tested through the program.
For those who still remember the early days of modern computers that had compact disc players, one way to copy songs from a compact disc is to install specialized data copying software such as Nero Burning ROM to copy songs to a digital version.
With this feature, those who still have a compact disc album of an artist or their favorite band can copy the CD to their computer, as long as their computer has a compact disc reader device that allows the content to be copied to a computer (CD-RW).
For now it is not yet known when this feature will be shown on the official version of Windows 11, but we expect it to arrive in the next few months, depending on the duration of the operating system update by Windows.
