Apart from smart devices, laptops and health trackers, Xiaomi’s launch event also saw the introduction of a mobile router. Known as the Xiaomi HomeWiFi Tri-Band Mesh, it comes with two router modules that can be connected to each other automatically when turned on.
Through it eight antennas have been used for maximum range, in addition to three supported protocol options including 2.4GHz, 5GHz and mesh. In addition, it is also advertised to be able to support up to 600 smart devices simultaneously within a maximum area of 1500m². Fast connection using NFC is also offered.
