Are curved monitors a gimmick? As a flat monitor user, we can say it's just a gimmick because it's only really useful during video game sessions but not for work software. Today Corsair XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED and it is the first monitor that can be used curved or flat according to the needs of the owner.
It is equipped with a 45″ bendable OLED screen produced by LG. Users can use it in a flat position like a conventional monitor or curve the screen with a radius of 800R. The screen has a 21:9 aspect ratio and supports a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium support is also given to premium gaming monitors.
This bendable OLED panel is mounted on a frame that is freely bendable by the user. According to Corsair, in tests performed the screen can withstand being bent up to 10,000 times during its lifetime. The Corsair XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED will launch towards the end of 2022 but the date has not been announced yet.
