Each Garmin wearable has its own focus and appeal. Most recently, the Garmin Approach S42 GPS was introduced in Malaysia with a price tag of RM1,480 per piece. The Garmin Approach S42 is a premium golf watch with GPS that offers complete information on nearly 42,000 golf courses on the user's wrist. The feature is packed into a watch with a 1.2-inch color touch screen. The body is also matched with a metal frame.
Among the main features included are AutoShot Game Tracking which can measure the distance of the shot, then record the data directly into the Garmin Golf application. Next, the Green View feature is able to show the shape of the terrain of a golf course for a more accurate shot. The included sensors can also be used for a number of health and fitness monitoring such as tracking women's health based running activities, sleep patterns and monitoring hydration.
Smart notification capabilities such as incoming email notifications, texts and other alerts from connected smartphones are also included. For information, tethering to iPhone and Android devices can be done using a bluetooth connection. There are three variations available such as Gunmetal with Black Band, Polished White with White band and Rose Gold with Light Sand Band.
