Google Introduces New SDK To Ease Data Sharing Between Devices

At the Google I/O event in the middle of this year, Google has announced that they will introduce a software development kit that allows application developers to develop software and functions that allow data to be shared easily between devices.

Named Cross device SDK, this development kit will make it easier for developers to access wireless data sharing APIs through technologies such as Bluetooth, WiFi and Ultra Wide Band and allow users to use various types of applications with functions such as Nearby Share.

This development kit allows developers to add functions such as sharing data between applications/devices in close proximity and opening the same application on two devices with the same conditions and also allows data to be synchronized between these different devices, such as what is offered through Apple Notes .

Google through their API will facilitate the use of functions such as secure connections and task switching from device-to-device. The Developer Preview for the Cross device SDK is already available for some Android smartphones and tablets and will be available for other Android and non-Android devices soon.
