Google was ready to introduce the Read Along application not long ago, and now the technology giant is also introducing a web version for the Read Along service.
Through it, Google is seen to want to help children to learn and train to read.
The Read Along site comes with a number of storybook options, from which children can choose and start reading. This website uses microphone access on the device, and when someone reads it, it will color the words that have been read.
If a word is pronounced incorrectly, it will underline the word, and the virtual assistant will help the child in pronouncing it correctly.
From our tests, Read Along works smoothly using the Google Chrome web browser as well as Microsoft Edge.
For those of you who are interested, you can check the Read Along site today, and use it to encourage children to read.
