Technology and art are an interesting combination. This was also shown by Huawei when it held the Huawei APAC Smart Office 2022, in Thailand, Bangkok this week. In addition to Huawei officials, on stage there was a special guest of renowned shoe designer Professor Jimmy Choo who shared his experience using the Huawei Smart Office series.
"Huawei gave me design ideas, making it easier for me to connect with my family and teams around the world, because Huawei offers all these conveniences," Choo said in an interview with a number of Asia Pacific media at one of the Huawei APAC Smart Office 2022 event sessions, Wednesday (27 /7).
Of a number of products in the Huawei Smart Office line, Choo relies heavily on three products, namely the premium Huawei MateBook X Pro laptop, Huawei MatePad Pro 11 tablet, and smartphones. The three of them are inseparable from Choo's daily life while doing various jobs, which are mainly tablets and smartphones.
"Huawei tablets and smartphones really help me. Especially on tablets, I can easily and freely draw sketches," he said.
According to Choo, he can do anything on a tablet. He can be directly connected to other devices, and the finished design ideas or sketches he doodles can be directly discussed with his team spread across many countries for further execution.
"I travel a lot because of my job, and Huawei tablet is easy to carry because it's only 11 inches. And from Huawei smartphone I can transfer pictures that I want to discuss. It's so easy," he said.
Choo also remembered her daughter who reminded her not to use a lot of paper and pencils because they are not environmentally friendly. Since drawing designs using a tablet, Choo admits that little by little he can fulfill his daughter's request to reduce paper usage.

"My daughter is always nagging, dad please don't waste a lot of paper, take care of the environment! So with my Huawei tablet I don't waste paper anymore, I don't need colored pencils," said Choo.
He also praised the Huawei MateBook X Pro which he thought was a high-end device with a very fashionable design. Equally important, as a designer who pays attention to detail, Choo was also impressed by the color accuracy on Huawei device screens.
Thanks to the Real Color FullView Display as well as the first Eye Comfort 3.0 certification from TÃœV Rheinland on the MateBook X Pro display, Huawei ensures high-quality, true-to-life colors are displayed on every laptop, smartphone and tablet device.
"The display is fantastic, the colors are very accurate. (Transferring images) from tablet to PC, I can connect to each other, without any cables, and it's very easy," said Choo.
Before closing the interview session, Choo said there would be a possibility of working with Huawei because he likes products made by this Chinese brand. "If the product is not good, I will not recommend it. I know my taste," he said.
He did not specify when and what kind of cooperation with Huawei he would like to realize. However, Choo said he had an interest in education considering that he currently also manages the JCA London Fashion Academy fashion school in London, England. So, maybe in the future we will see the results of Huawei's collaboration with Jimmy Choo.
