Intel is expected to introduce a number of their 13th generation Raptor Lake processing chips at the end of September with a series of desktop class processing chips first. That remains to be seen, but Intel is also expected to show off its laptop processor chip offerings early.
The processing chips for the laptop class should only be shown early next year, usually during the Consumer Electronics Show, but with Raptor Lake, Intel is expected to introduce the processing chips earlier as well due to industry factors.
It is shown that lately, buyers are more inclined to buy laptops than desktop computers, and therefore, Intel is expected to introduce these processing chips in October or November.
In fact, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger was quoted as saying that Intel's Raptor Lake processing chips will begin sales of desktop CPUs this fall, followed by laptop offerings powered by Raptor Lake chips before the end of the year.
Whether this means that laptop brands will show models with the latest processing chips is not yet known, but since the design of Raptor Lake resembles the previous Alder Lake, it would not be surprising if it really happened.a
