Lenovo Legion Y70 will be launched in China on August 13. The Legion branding on the device clearly shows its focus on premium. However, the design looks simpler than its predecessor Lenovo Legion Y90.
There is no support for RGB lighting, instead the rear panel of the Lenovo Legion Y70 only houses a tri-camera system in a square-shaped camera module. All are arranged vertically with a 50MP (1/1.5-inch) main camera setup with OIS / EIS and 8K/30fps video recording capabilities. Next, it is also paired with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP for macro.
Moving on to the front panel, it's a hole-in-one with a believed 6.58-inch AMOLED screen. It is also likely to support a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz, in addition to the use of a 13MP selfie camera. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip is also used as the mainstay of the device.
Other features expected to be supported include a 5,100mAh battery with a 68W fast charging system, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, running the Android 12 operating system and so on. No information on pricing has been shared so far.
