NASA Shares Sounds Made by Black Holes

We learn in school that sound cannot travel in a vacuum. Therefore no sound can be heard in outer space. But in certain situations sound can travel through space and NASA researchers tasked with finding exoplanets have shared the sounds emitted by a black hole.

This dark hole is located 200 million light years from earth. The sound was detected by researchers because there is enough gas in the Perseus galaxy cluster. It cannot actually be heard by the human ear because it vibrates at a frequency that is too low but the sound above is produced after being processed by researchers. It's a good thing this sound can't be heard by normal human ears because it sounds like the moans of tormented spirits in horror movies.
