Last January, Sony began announcing the presence of their new virtual reality headset, the PlayStation VR2. The PS VR2 will already support the PS5 console and have the new VR2 Sense controller. The display on this virtual reality headset is OLED 4K HDR, 2000 x 2040 with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In addition, this PS VR2 also has a camera to track movements, can be connected with PS5 HD Camera to record playing sessions and many other interesting features. The design of the PlayStation VR2 is still similar to the first generation model, but now has air vents to prevent the VR lens from fogging, the lens can also be adjusted to change the focal length and supports adaptive triggers for realistic haptic responses.
Last July, Sony shared the interface and functions of PS VR2 such as transparent mode, cinematic mode and customization of the game space. Recently, Sony has announced that their virtual reality headset will be launched in 2023.
