ASUS' gaming brand, Republic of Gamers, is commonly known for computer components, IT hardware and accessories developed for gamers.
ROG-branded WiFi routers are also nothing new, but recently, they have introduced WiFi routers that come with WiFi Mesh features that combine two or more router units to ensure that the entire home area can be connected to a WiFi network without problems.
That's what ASUS ROG developed, the ROG Rapture GT6 WiFi router that comes with an antenna-less design where all nine components are stored in the router's frame, giving it a neater design that is still aggressive, blending in with the DNA of the Republic of Gamers.
This ROG Rapture GT6 comes with support for WiFi6 networks with three types of frequencies, including 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz and also 5.9GHz with support for data transmission speeds as fast as 10,000Mbps with a network area of 538 square meters.
It is also equipped with ASUS RangeBoost Plus technology that facilitates the addition of network width and ASUS Instant Guard that ensures your network is always safe from outside elements.
As a gaming router, this ROG Rapture GT6 also comes with a feature where it will optimize the data packets arriving from the gaming server which will reduce the latency in the game which is definitely very important when you are eager to beat your opponent when playing online games .
Just like other ASUS WiFi routers, this ROG Rapture GT6 can also be installed easily using the ASUS Router application without needing a connection to a computer like previous WiFi routers.
ASUS says that the ROG Rapture GT6 router will arrive in select markets by the fourth quarter of this year, and will come in black and Moonlight White color options.
