ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ And PG48UQ Are Giant 4K 138Hz OLED Gaming Displays

If you have a high-powered gaming computer or a new generation Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X game console, you definitely want a screen display that can take advantage of the graphics processing power on these machines.

With that, ASUS ROG has shown two of their latest giant gaming screen displays, namely ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ, which are two giant large screen displays of 42 and 48 inches in size that use OLED panels with 4K resolution and 138Hz refresh rate.

Both displays come with a dynamic contrast value of 1,200,000:1, can display 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and have a Delta E<2 value. The OLED panel used also comes with support for HDR10 color processing technology.

In terms of plug support, both ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and PG48UQ come with two HDMI 2.1 plugs for 4K resolution support with a 120Hz refresh rate, two HDMI 2.0 plugs, and a USB hub. If you don't want to connect external speakers to this display, it also comes with built-in 2.1 speakers developed in collaboration with Harman Kardon.

What's more interesting is that this screen display also comes with its own cooling system because a circuit part of a large screen display like this can experience overheating issues, and with this cooling system, it can reduce the probability that these internal components will be damaged due to heat issues .

As of now, ASUS has not yet confirmed when the ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ screens will go on sale in the local market, but they are already on sale in Taiwan at a price of around $1299-$1499.
