Today, Samsung not only launched the Galaxy Fold4 but also presented the new generation device Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. Several things have been added to the device to give users a more interesting experience using the device with a compact foldable screen.
The device's screen uses a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with Infinity Flex technology. The screen resolution is FHD+ 2640 x 1080, supports an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz and the bezel is also thinner for more immersive screen use. The screen on the outside is a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 260 x 512. The overall size of the device is also more compact and small.
Z Flip4 is also powered by the most powerful Android processing chip on the market which is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and paired with 8GB RAM memory with RAM Plus virtual memory support up to 8GB RAM. The internal storage of the device is 128GB, 256GB and for the first time there is a 512GB option. The battery is also larger with a capacity of 3700mAh and finally supports 25W Super Fast Charging.
The device's camera still uses a dual-camera configuration that is 12+12 Megapixel f/1.8+f/2.2. But with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip Samsung promises better quality that can produce results that are 65% brighter. The selfie camera is 10 Megapixel f/2.4 through a perforated screen.
IPX8 water protection is also retained, but the device lacks support for the S-Pen stylus. For the operating system, the Z Flip4 runs One UI 4.1.1 based on Android 12 with some new features such as FlexCam developed together with Meta for better support on Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
For security, the device also remains with the fingerprint scanner on the side via the power button. The design of the device is more compact, it is also flatter overall making this device more pleasant to look at.
The selling price of this device for the Malaysian market is RM4099 for 8/156 GB, RM4299 for 12/512 GB, RM4899 for 12/1TB and RM4399 for the Bespike Edition (8/256GB). Samsung Malaysia will offer a choice of Bora Purple, Blue, Pink Gold, Graphite or Bespoke Edition colors that allow users to choose their own favorite color.
