Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 have been launched recently as Samsung's most powerful foldable screen devices. Because both devices are premium flagship devices, they have been confirmed to receive four Android version updates and five years of security patches.
This is in line with what Samsung has done on several devices under the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z Fold, Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy A series over the past few years. Currently Samsung is the only manufacturer that offers updates to up to four versions of Android on their released devices. For users who do not plan to replace the phone frequently, Samsung will ensure the device is safe to use for up to five years.
