Samsung launched the KQ98QNB100, a smart television with a 98″ Neo QLED screen and 4K resolution in South Korea. This television screen is not only large but capable of displaying a brightness of up to 5000 nits which is almost three times brighter than the skin of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The screen panel is capable of displaying a 14-bit warrant and with the Neo Quantum Processor+ chip non-native 4K content can be upscaled to look sharper. There is support for HDR10+ and HLG systems. Since this is a Samsung smart TV with Tizen, there is still no support for Dolby Vision content.
Even more impressive is the built-in 120W audio system that supports 6.4.4 audio channels – six forward-firing speakers, four upward-firing speakers and four more woofers for true Dolby Atmos audio. There is still support for Object Sound Tracking+ and Q-Symphony to enable it to be matched with a Samsung soundbar.
All of this is packed into a TV that's only 19.9 inches thick. In South Korea KQ98QNB100 is sold at a price of 45,000,000 KRW (~RM 151,000) each.
