BlackBerry is one of the most popular smartphone brands in the last decade. In fact, the use of BBM messaging is quite popular and has its own use, besides it also comes with a special data plan called BIS at a very competitive price.
Anyway, with the popularity of smartphones like iPhone and Android, the BlackBerry brand is disappearing, and now there are no new BlackBerry-branded smartphones being produced.
In parallel with this, now a film will be shown, called "BlackBerry", and takes the story of the rise and fall of the brand. This film is based on the book "Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind the Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall of BlackBerry" which was published in 2015.
Films based on technology brands are being produced more and more lately, including those that have been released regarding Facebook, Apple, WeWork, and several others.
For now, it is not known when this movie will be released.
