Telekom Malaysia today confirmed they are in the final stages of negotiations with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), before launching the 5G network to the public.
TM was previously one of the first to sign an agreement with DNB, besides Yes. However, until now, they have not yet offered a 5G network to the public through Unifi Mobile.
The government had previously set a deadline for negotiations with DNB until August 2022, before starting to introduce the 5G network widely from September 2022.
With this latest TM partnership, we may be able to see the official introduction of the 5G network by TM around this September or October.
