Twitter Ordered To Give 9000 Account Details To Elon Musk To Test User Accuracy

The drama of the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk does not seem to be over yet, where recently, the social media platform company has been ordered by the Delaware Court to provide a sample of user data that has been audited to the richest individual in the world to test the accuracy of the number of users.

A few months ago, Elon Musk was seen interested in taking over Twitter for $44 billion. Soon after, he said that he wanted the data of Twitter users to see for himself whether the platform was filled with spam bots or not.

Twitter's CEO said the data could not be given to him because it was too much and would cause trust issues because the data could be easily misused. Elon Musk later said that he did not buy Twitter, and this has caused the two sides to fight in court now.

Recently, a Delaware court has said that Elon Musk's request for all of Twitter's user data is unreasonable because it is too much and there is no reason why it should be given to him.

Even so, Twitter has still been instructed to give 9000 random user accounts that have been audited to Elon Musk for the purpose of checking whether the platform is really filled with bot accounts or not.

Twitter was given two weeks to provide this user data to Elon Musk, and it is expected that the company's acquisition process will continue after it is satisfied with confirmation that Twitter is not filled with the alleged bot accounts.
