There is no doubt that there may be a few of us who are actively uploading status on WhatsApp. So much so that some like to express their feelings and problems, and even share the latest developments through it. If before, you need to press on the status section to check every status uploaded by a friend or contact. Now it becomes easier when WhatsApp will allow you to check it directly from the chat room.
Taking shared screenshots, it works like the Stories feature on Instagram. When your friend or contact uploads a new status update, a green circle around the profile picture will appear. You just need to click on their profile picture to see the update. At the same time, the status can also be hidden through the settings if you are not happy with it.
For now, this feature is only offered on WhatsApp Beta for select Android only. It is also said to receive some improvements before the launch of the full version.
