Adobe today announced that it will take over one of the most popular applications among designers, namely Figma.
Adobe will take over Figma at a value of RM90 billion ($20 billion). This will continue to strengthen Adobe's position in the design and graphics arena. Previously, Adobe XD's offerings competed with Figma, and now the two may complement each other.
Figma offers facilities for designers to easily develop application or web interfaces. Besides that, Figma also has a fairly active community.
With this acquisition, Adobe may consolidate Figma's offerings through the Adobe Creative Suite.
