Drone company Aerodyne Group announced today that it received a $30 million investment led by PETRONAS Ventures and Kumpulan Wang Serasaraan (KWAP). KWAP made additional investments after previously doing so in 2020.
The investment received will be used to expand the company's operations in Europe, Africa, Latin America and South Asia as well as make technology acquisitions to give Aerodyne an edge in the air mobility market.
In addition, it will also be used to further expand Aerodyne's agricultural system operations in Indonesia and India. Since its establishment in 2014. Aerodyne has emerged as one of the world's leading drone companies. Recently at the Selangor Air Show 2022, Aerodyne showed prototypes of four new drones that can carry cargo up to 225 kilograms.
