Amazon Updates Kindle Basic Version With USB-C Support, Better Screen

Amazon today updated their Kindle offering, through the introduction of a basic Kindle model that now comes with a USB-C based charger.

In addition, the new Kindle offering also includes longer battery life, as well as a 300ppi screen for better display.

The new Kindle also comes with 16GB of storage space on it to allow you to store more books on it, including especially for listening to audiobooks.

Amazon will start selling it starting in October, at a price of $100 for the ad-supported version of the device, or $120 for the ad-free version.
