Spacelab is a private space station that will be launched by 2027. It is the result of a collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Voyager that wants to offer the experience of living in space for tourists. To ensure the comfort of tourists, the design of the Spacelab cabin will be designed by Hilton.
With their hospitality expertise, Hilton will design tourist accommodations and collaborate to explore opportunities for hotel marketing in space. In addition to offering hotels for tourists, Voyager also wants to offer space to conduct science experiments and research laboratories.
Voyager chose Hilton because of their more than 100 years of experience in the hospitality industry and their view is certainly unique because during this time the space station was designed by engineers who did not care about the comfort of the astronauts.
