It's impossible if you're a TikTok user and don't know who Khaby Lame is. This online celebrity is originally from Senegal before moving to Italy as a child. He only joined TikTok in 2020 after being laid off from a factory but can now claim up to $750,000 (RM 3.4 million) for each paid video on TikTok. In line with his status as an individual with 149.5 million followers which is also the highest on TikTok.
He revealed this himself through an interview with Fortune. He is expected to earn $10 throughout 2021. On average he is paid $400,000 (~RM 1.8 million) for paid videos through his account. In addition to producing videos, he also generates income by becoming a product ambassador such as Hugo Boss recently.
After successfully conquering TikTok, Khaby now wants to conquer the world of acting by spending up to 3 hours a day learning English. His hope is to act with Will Smith in the future.
The lesson from Khaby Lame's life is not to give up quickly because in just two years the future can change if you have a unique talent and good luck.
