Leica Cine 1 Laser Projector Launched With Price Reaching RM43,000

As promised earlier last month, the Leica Cine 1 was launched at IFA 2022. This laser projector developed in collaboration with HiSense tries to offer the best visual quality for users who want a premium short-throw projector system at home.

It comes in 80″ and 100″ sizes with 4K 60Hz resolution support. According to Leica with their tri-RGB system, high visual quality can be enjoyed by Cine 1 owners. Each of these laser TVs is also capable of projecting images at a resolution of up to 2500 ANSI lumens. Cine 1's built-in 20W audio system supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus.

The selling price of Leica Cine 1 starts from $6900 (~RM30,870) for 80″ and $7900 (~RM35,344) for 100″. But for the best visual quality it needs to be matched with an ALR screen that sells for $1600 (~RM7158) for 80″ and $1800 (~RM8053) for 100″. Therefore for those interested in buying Cine 1 the cost of owning it reaches $7900 (~RM43,398). Although already launched Leica Cine 1 will only go on sale in Q2 2023.
