Samsung offers their Bespoke refrigerators that customers can choose the color of. But after it is produced this is the color that will be used until the end of life. At IFA 2022, LG unveiled the MoodUP refrigerator whose entire front is a color-changing LED panel.
LG MoodUP offers 22 colors for the upper door panel and 19 colors for the lower door panel that are fully controlled with the ThinQ app. In addition to allowing the owner to change the color of the refrigerator according to the mood, it also has some practical features such as lighting up brighter at night so that it is easy to find in the dark and flashing when it detects that the door is not closed tightly.
The MoodUP refrigerator is still only a prototype shown at the IFA event so far, but with the market for customized products, it wouldn't be surprising if it becomes a real product.
