Maybank : Activation of Secure2U Only Through MAE Application Starting 1 October, No More in M2U MY


 Maybank is now informing users that all new activations for Secure2U will only be possible through the MAE application, starting 1 October 2022, and will no longer be possible through the M2U MY application.


Secure2U is a feature provided by Maybank in verifying a transaction - replacing the previous use of SMS TAC. To start using it, users need to activate the use of Secure2U on their device – and then use it to verify transactions.



If you are ready to activate your device using M2U MY, then you can continue to use the transaction verification feature as usual.


This change is only for activation on new devices.


In addition, starting October 8, 2022 as well, Secure2U activation will take 12 hours before being activated on different devices.
