OpenSignal has now released the mobile internet speed report in Malaysia for the third quarter of 2022, covering the period from 1 June 2022 to 29 August 2022.
In terms of download speed offerings, Digi comes out on top with an average speed of 20.5 Mbps followed by Maxis (19.2 Mbps), Unifi (12.4 Mbps), Yes (12.1 Mbps), Celcom (11.2 Mbps) and Umobile (8.6 Mbps).
In terms of uploading capabilities, Umobile is the fastest with a speed of 7.1 Mbps, followed by Maxis (7.0 Mbps), Digi (6.7 Mbps), Celcom (4.7 Mbps), Unifi (2.8 Mbps) and Yes (2.1 Mbps).
For users who value video streaming capabilities, Digi and Maxis share the award as the telco with the best experience. Celcom offers the best 4G experience while Maxis offers the best online experience.
