Samsung Odyssey Ark Monitor Sold In Malaysia At RM13999 – The Freestyle Freestyle

The Samsung Odyssey Ark monitor was launched into the US market two weeks ago as an extreme curved gaming monitor with the ability to rotate vertically like the Samsung Sero. For Malaysian residents who are interested, Odyssey Ark is sold in Malaysia at a price of RM13,999 per unit with pre-orders open from 8-18 September. With every purchase, a projector The Freestyle will also be given for free with it previously sold at a price of RM4999 apiece.

The screen of this monitor is 55″ from the Quantum Mini LED type, curved 1000R and supports up to 165Hz refresh rate. With a curved design, the user's view is always at the right angle to get the most optimal visual experience.

It is capable of displaying visuals at 4K 120FPS HDR10+ resolution that will surely satisfy the needs of the most hardcore video game fans. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support is also included to ensure that visuals are not torn or smooth during gaming sessions.

The screen still uses a 16:9 ratio and can be divided into four sectors of 27″ each. There are 4X HDMI 2, 2X USB-A, optical audio output and LAN. In terms of audio, it also supports Dolby Atmos through a 2.2.2 audio system with 60W output.

Screen orientation can be changed from landscape to portrait if needed. The image will automatically notice this change and ensure that the content is not tilted by 90 degrees. On this vertical orientation, users can watch TikTok videos, Shorts and Reels with the right aspect ratio.

An Arc Dial is provided with every purchase to allow owners to change various screen settings directly from this special remote control. Input connection is also easy using the Samsung One Connect box that was previously offered on their smart televisions. If not used as a computer monitor and console, Odyssey Arc can still function as a smart television because it uses the Tizen operating system.

The built-in Samsung Gaming Hub allows it to stream video games from Stadia, Luna, Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now. Meanwhile, the Game Bar feature provides quick access to change common visual settings of video games.
