In 2018 Samsung The Wall was launched globally with a unique feature consisting of a 146″ modular Micro LED panel. With modular panels, users can actually combine each mini unit to form a display of any size, and screen ratio.
At the Samsung Display Tech Summit 2022 held in Bangkok today, Samsung launched the new generation of The Wall. Like the previous model, the new The Wall All-in-One (also called the IAB series) retains the modular Micro LED panel but with some improvements.
There is HDR 10+ support and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The bigger difference to The Wall All-in-One is that it now consists of elongated modular panels. With this the process of installing The Wall AIO is faster than the previous The Wall with smaller modular panel components.
Speakers and control boxes are now built directly into the panel reducing complications and space usage. The Wall All-in-One is offered in 146″ 4K, 146″ 2K and 110″ 2K sizes.
Also announced at the Samsung Display Tech Summit is The Wall series IWB which maintains the original The Wall design with a smaller modular panel with the ability to connect to produce displays up to 220″ 8K 120Hz and HDR10+.
The Wall All-in-One series IAB and The Wall IWB are now marketed in Southeast Asia and Oceania for business and consumer customers. The sale price has not been announced at this time.
