Sony Xperia 1 IV Gaming Edition Launched With 16GB RAM

 


The Sony Xperia 1 IV Gaming Edition was launched alongside the Sony Xperia Stream. This flagship smartphone model still has the same specifications as the regular Sony Xperia IV, only it comes with a larger 16GB memory compared to only 12GB before.



Sony Xperia 1 IV comes with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a 4K resolution display, in addition to a 120Hz refresh rate. Sony maintains the use of the 21:9 aspect ratio on this smartphone, and also emphasizes that it offers a display with accurate coloring.


Powering it is also a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, as well as equipped with 5G network support. It comes with a memory of 16GB RAM, in addition to 512GB storage. Users can also expand storage through the use of micro-SD.



In terms of cameras, it includes a 12-megapixel tri-camera on the back, in addition to also using a 12-megapixel camera for selfies. Sony also works with ZEISS for their camera lenses.


Complementing this smartphone is the Game Enhancer feature – which allows optimization for gaming, including the facility to stream games to YouTube. Other features such as 3.5mm audio-jack support, IP65/68 waterproofing, and even a physical button for the camera are also retained on this smartphone. In Japan Sony Xperia IV Gaming Edition is sold at a price of 175,000 Yen (~RM5554) one.
