YouTube today announced that they will start sharing advertising revenue on YouTube Shorts starting 2023 among content publishers - while trying to attract users to publish content from Tiktok and Instagram Reels, to their platform.
YouTube will share this Shorts revenue with publishers with over 1000 customers on channels, as well as over 10 million views on YouTube Shorts within 90 days.
Advertisements will be played between shorts, and revenue will be gathered, and then divided according to the viewing rate among content publishers.
YouTube will share 45% of income with content publishers.
INTRODUCTION The method of generating revenue through this YouTube Shorts is expected to be done starting in 2023.
