Parallel to the announcement of the European Union with new legislation for various electrical equipment to switch to the use of USB-C-based chargers, Bloomberg now shares that Apple will also update the connection support to USB-C on a number of their products.
Apple is expected to make changes to support on AirPods, allowing users to easily charge the earphones using USB-C support.
In addition, various Mac accessories are also expected to add USB-C support, including Mac mice and keyboards.
Apple is expected to update these products within the next two years - where they may also introduce some design updates to their products along with the introduction of this new charging standard.
