Apple Ever Considered Offering an iPad At a Low Price, With a Plastic Construction

Apple has recently introduced a new generation of iPads, along with a number of updates – including using a USB-C charger. Anyway, with the increase in the selling price of the iPad, it is said that the leading device manufacturer from the United States has also considered producing an iPad at a low cost.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple was considering an iPad that came with a plastic-based frame along with a plastic keyboard offered with purchase. Apple aims to sell it at a very competitive and low price compared to their other offerings.

However, the matter did not proceed.

But, if it does come into production, Apple might position it for students and younger users – while competing in a market dominated by Chromebooks today.
