Apple today announced their latest tablet, the 6th generation iPad Pro, which is powered by the Apple M2 chip. The same processing chip also powers the 13-inch MacBook Pro that was introduced earlier this year.
In terms of specifications, the iPad Pro M2 comes in 12.9-inch and 11-inch sizes, with support for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Both tablets also include Apple Pencil-based input support.
In terms of design, there are no major differences. Apple is seen focusing on the performance of the iPad Pro this time, including equipping it with WiFi 6E support, as well as offering a cellular model with 5G support. iPad Pro also includes a USB-C connection to make it easy to connect to a number of accessories, including monitors.
In addition, it comes equipped with the iPad OS 16 operating system which offers a number of interesting features, including Stage Manager for better multi-tasking on the iPad.
In Malaysia, Apple lists the 11-inch iPad Pro tablet offering at a price starting at RM3899, while the 12.9-inch model is available at a price starting at RM5399. For now, the date of the offer in Malaysia is still unknown.
