Apple today increased subscription prices for several of their services, starting with Apple Music.
The service which was previously offered at a subscription price of RM14.90 per month, is now increased to RM16.90 per month.
This price change is not due to the recent fall in the Ringgit currency - but the price increase is for consumers around the world. Apple says this price increase is due to the rising cost of music licensing – and this also allows artists to generate more revenue.
Apple Music for students is offered at a price of RM8.90 – which was increased a few months ago. For Apple Music Family, it is offered at a price of RM25.90 (compared to RM22.90 before).
