Yesterday Barry Sharpless won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry together with Morten Meldal and Carolyn Bertozzi for their contributions to the field of click chemistry. In 2001, Sharpless also won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contributions to chiral catalyzed oxidation reactions.

This makes Sharpless only the fifth person in history to win the Nobel Prize twice. He was in a small group with John Bardeen, Marie Curie, Linus Pauling and Frederick Sanger who also won it twice.
