EMUI 13 Launched For Huawei Devices Globally

Yesterday EMUI 13 was officially launched three months after the launch of HarmonyOS 3. Although originally Huawei planned to use HarmonyOS 3 on all their devices released in China and globally, plans were changed as the integration of services specific to China made this operating system unsuitable for global use .

In terms of interface EMUI and HarmonyOS 3 look similar with the same features. For example there is SuperStorage which reduces storage usage at first. EMUI 13 identifies which files are important and deletes unnecessary files after installing the application.

There is also a SuperHub that facilitates the process of sharing various types of files in different formats which are then included in emails for example by drag & drop. Sortable widgets and resizable app folders are also included in EMUI 13.

Multi-Screen Collaboration is back with smartphones that can be controlled in the Windows operating system and also on tablets that also use EMUI 13. For those who like to share music with friends, the operating system allows the process of adding HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 earphones easily. SuperDevice makes it easier for owners to control all devices that support the Huawei ecosystem.

The devices with EMUI 13 are the Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro which were opened for booking in Malaysia last week with a launch date around next November.
