GitHub Now Has Over 90 Million Monthly Active Users

 

Microsoft today shared some of their company's developments, including briefly touching on their developer-focused platform, GitHub.

According to Microsoft, GitHub currently has more than 90 million users worldwide, and achieves annual revenue of $1 billion.

This is the first time Microsoft has shared about GitHub since taking it over in 2018. At the time of its takeover, GitHub had around 28 million users, and it has shown positive user growth since the takeover.

So far, GitHub is still operating as it originally was, without any changes by Microsoft since the takeover.
