It's been a long time since a new Android device received DXOMark's highest photography score. Last time was Huawei P50 Pro and Honor Magic4 Ultimate. The latest device that received the highest score is the Apple iPhone 14 Pro with a main camera score of 146 and a selfie camera score of 145, which is still in second place with the Honor Magic4 Ultimate still winning.
Recently, Honor Magic4 Ultimate and iPhone 14 Pro were successfully beaten by Google Pixel 7 Pro which received a score of 147. But the selfie camera score was 142, lower than iPhone 14 Pro. The latest chart is Pixel 7 Pro in first place, Honor Magic4 Ultimate second, iPhone 14 Pro third, Huawei P50 Pro fourth and fifth still held by iPhone 13 Pro. Google Pixel 6 Pro, which was Google's flagship device last year, is now in twelfth position.
According to DXOMark, Pixel 7 Pro has good focus, fast post-processing and good performance for all features and functions like skin tone, natural contrast, best zoom, great stabilization, amazing blur effect and also has recording HDR10 video with if the atmosphere has good brightness.
Color and brightness are also good regardless of the light conditions. The downside of the Pixel 7 Pro is video recording in low light, focus problems if taking photos or videos at close range.
