Google Pixel Tablet Will Use Tensor G2 Chip And May Turn Into A Smart Screen

After a long wait, the Google Pixel Tablet that was announced at Google I/O last May is now officially launched simultaneously with the Pixel Watch, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The Google Pixel Tablet appears to be built to be used alongside Pixel devices, so that features such as messaging, phone calls and video can be used directly on the larger screen.

The Pixel Tablet is also powered by the Tensor G2, but the screen size, memory and other details are still under wraps. The tablet also comes with a ceramic nano finish that takes inspiration from pottery that is soft to the touch.

The Pixel tablet can also be charged magnetically with a special dock, making it like a much more powerful Nest Hub Max. This means, users can use this tablet to control connected devices at home, make digital albums, and always charge the tablet 24 hours. The dock also functions as a speaker to provide more immersive audio.

The Pixel Tablet hasn't been officially launched yet, it's only coming in 2023 – so there's no price yet for now. With this Pixel Tablet, Google seems to want to make the ecosystem of devices connected to their Nest more extensive.
