Google announced today that they will end their cloud-based gaming service, Stadia.
Google will end this service completely on January 18, 2023.
Google said they had to close the Stadia service because it did not receive the demand among users as expected by Google. This forced them to completely end Stadia.
Regardless, Google will refund all purchases of all Stadia hardware and games made through the Google Store.
Despite the termination, Google is expected to integrate a number of Stadia technologies in other parts of the technology company.
