Along with the introduction of the new generation iPad, Apple also finally officially announced the introduction of the next operating system update, i.e. iPadOS 16.
iPad OS 16 will be available starting October 24 to existing iPad users. It supports all iPad Pro models, iPad Air third generation and newer, iPad 5 and newer, and iPad Mini 5 and newer.
One of the new features to look forward to in iPadOS 16.1 is Stage Manager. It is the latest multi-tasking feature, making it easy for you to generate different work environments according to your application and needs. It's like you open different desktops – and then lets you switch between them. However, this feature is limited to some iPads only, i.e. for iPad Pro models since 2018, in addition to the latest iPad Air.
In addition, this new update will also include a number of updates to applications on the iPad, in addition to support for desktop-class applications on the iPad.
