Kanye West Takes Over Parler To Make It A Platform For True Freedom Of Speech

Parler announced today that rapper and top fashion designer Kanye West has agreed to take over the social media platform. The value paid and the percentage of shares held by West have not been announced so far but he sees the purchase as ensuring that conservatives will be able to express themselves freely.

Since launching in 2018, Parler has marketed themselves as a social media platform that offers true freedom of expression in line with the first amendment of the United States constitution. It became a refugee camp for Twitter and Facebook users who were banned because of their elevated status.

But the allowed content can be seen as insulting to minorities and as a result the Parler app has been removed from the App Store and Play Store for violating Apple and Google's terms.
